How long have you worked at eTelecare? 5.5 years

Why did you choose to work for eTelecare? Attractive work environment and compensation. As far back as 2001, Etelecare exuded an energetic atmosphere which would draw potential employees. The tough interview and good compensation (for a Philippine resource) was a factor as well.

Out of all the benefits provided here, which are most important to you? In Manila, it would be the Service Incentive Leaves. Earning 24 vacation credits per year that can be carried over is great for recharging the batteries.
For the US, it would be the tuition reimbursement.

What is your favorite part of your job? Mentoring. I lead a great group of smart developers with high potential for growth. Having the opportunity to mentor them to help realize that potential and seeing them reach the next level gives me much satisfaction.

Did you start in this position? Nope. I started out as a Sr. Application Developer back in 2001. From that time, I worked on software development projects that gave me the opportunity to support and improve different business functions and external client processes. Those experiences allowed me to work on, and eventually improve my competencies to be able to contribute and perform as an IT Project Manager.
I’m looking forward to continuing my professional growth with the transition of this organization into a rapidly growing, public company, which will require more governance, world class processes and cross-cultural interaction.
